German Shepherd Puppy Training – How to Get Maximum Training Results at Minimum Price
A German shepherd puppy training session costs $50 per hour? Holy crap! I didn’t know that training a little puppy dog can be so pricey!
I got this info straight from the horse’s mouth. Spoke to a professional dog trainer who lives several blocks away from my place. I could opt for the special package comprising of 10 one-hour training sessions for 2 weeks priced at $450.
Oh what JOY! That’s a whopping $50 DISCOUNT for all my dog training needs!
Oh well…Forget about it! Shelling out $450 for a German shepherd puppy training program is just too much for me. Will their program work? They didn’t offer any money back guarantee…
Alright listen, if you want to train your cute little German shepherd puppy without having to splash a ton of cash, and also get maximum training results as quickly as possible, then here’s what you should do:
Go to your local pet store and buy yourself a nice shiny, new clicker. It’ll only cost you about $2. I’ve been training my German shepherd pup, Yobo exclusively with a clicker.
I also downloaded an authentic clicker academy course online. This course offers plenty of examples and easy to follow directions to assist you in shaping only desirable behaviors in your pet.
My Yobo is doing well now thanks to the techniques outlined in the course. It made it so easy for me to teach Yobo house breaking, basic dog obedience commands and also some neat puppy tricks.

Now if you already have a clicker at home, then please take note of the tips below. German shepherd puppy training using a clicker can be rather tricky initially.
(1) Using a top-quality reinforcer is essential especially when teaching your puppy a new behavior. But a lot of owners make this mistake. They give out too much tasty treat foods (I made this mistake too at first) during training!
So avoid using treat foods exclusively. Instead try utilizing a wide variety of reinforcers to induce positive response.
(2) Once your pup becomes fluent (no clicker or reward needed in order to induce response) in a particular behavior, then it’s time for you to teach him some solid cues.
Cue training is necessary to ensure that your puppy does not easily forget the behavior that you’ve taught him.
(3) Practice clicking with precision! I noticed that Yobo learns a particular behavior a lot quicker after I improved my clicking accuracy skill.
German shepherd puppy training is really fun especially if you use proper behavior shaping tactics with a clicker.
You can do it without having to shell out a lot of money on professional dog trainers.
Just refer to an online training program that offers step-by-step techniques along with plenty of examples and full video exercises.
